Community Commitment

We support local producers, serve as a community hub, and participate in events and local drives. When neighborhoods show up for one another, our town grows stronger.

Our Story

Our roots go back to 1946, when a small neighborhood store opened with a simple promise: take care of your neighbors and they will take care of you. Over the years the business grew alongside Shasta Lake, and the building that now houses our store was established in 1964. The Mancasola family has continued that original commitment, carrying forward a family run approach to service, quality, and community connection.

We kept the same promise as the town changed. In 2021 we restored the Farmer’s name to honor the people and stories that built this place. That name is a reminder of where we came from and why we show up each day. You will see that history around the store in photos and memories shared by customers and staff, and you will feel it in the way our team greets you at the door.

What we offer is simple and practical.

We bring fresh produce, grab-and-go meals, a deli with specialty sandwiches, and USDA choice meats cut to your preference. We stock local products you might not find at larger chains, and our team works to make shopping convenient whether you are preparing a weeknight dinner or stocking a houseboat for a weekend on the lake. Above all, we aim to treat every customer like a neighbor.

Serving the community is part of our mission. We support local vendors, participate in community events, and offer services like dockside delivery to make life easier for residents and visitors. Being a neighborhood market means earning trust one visit at a time, standing with families through good times and hard times, and keeping Shasta Lake fed and connected.
